Were at the halfway point

Good morning everyone!  I hope your having a great day so far and the rest is filled with excitement and good feelings.  I completely lost track of time yesterday hence the no post.  As I was ready to do a late night post it was already too late and early in to this morning, sorry about that!  Yesterday I just spent some time playing World of Warcraft and dabbling in a new game called Cat Quest.

Cat Quest is quite charming so far, a £2.49 well spent if you ask me.  Currently on sale on Steam

This game kept popping up in the recommended tab and after watching a short video, I decided to give it a try.  I ended up playing for four hours straight, it was the perfect filler as I was waiting for a rare mob to spawn in World of Warcraft.  I decided it was time to finally finish the achievement "king of the Monsters", it's a lot more work than I originally thought.  You have to kill 5 rare mobs while transformed in to a monster but due to the scaling, the mob can kill you before you kill it.  The way around this is to use the form sword toy to bring the mob down to low health then you can transform to finish it off.  After killing a rare mob, you have a 15 minute window before a new one spawns.  I managed to get 3/5 and gave up after 5 or more hours work due to the same two spawning for over an hour.  I'll give this a go another night!

Gained a few new achievements over the last couple of days

You guys may have already seen this but the World of Warcraft PTR server has been updated to contain the Shadowlands pre-patch events.  This is such a good sign as it makes me believe the launch date isn't too far away now.  I have high hopes that they will announce the launch date before or at Gamescom.  I'm so excited for this expansion, more than I was for the current Battle for Azeroth expansion.

I am yet to continue exploring the Maldraxxus zone in the beta, I am waiting until my boyfriend is able to play (work is so busy!), so I took some time to replay through the Maw and Bastion to get a better understanding of the zones and found a few more bugs.  I just cannot get over how beautiful Bastion is and have really taken a liking to this zone.  I am quite excited to see how the last two zones look and to quest further in to Maldraxus.

Unlocking a covenant ability in Bastion, dang that green name ruining my screenshot moment!

Well, it's time for me to get back in to the gaming world my friends.  I hope you all have a fantastic day and are safe and well during this pandemic. See you all tomorrow in my next post, I promise there will be one! Let me know if you're excited about Shadowlands in the comments below.
