Monday night pet battles

 Good evening everyone!  I hope you've all had a lovely weekend and that your Monday is going well so far.  My weekend was spent with a stiff neck and a large dose of World of Warcraft Shadowlands beta.  Today I was faced with my ultimate fear; needles, I had to go and get some bloods taken.  I have always had a fear of needles so this has never been a pleasant experience for me, to top it all off I had to get it taken from my hand.  Not a fun time at all so I am glad it is all over and done with.

Oh my word, Shadowlands Beta... where do I even begin?  I am loving every moment of what I have played so far.  I have completed the starting scenario and the Bastion zone and have encountered almost no bugs.  The bugs I've found are things like disconnecting when being invited by a friend in a different layer, NPC's not responding well on escort quests and having to abandon and retake quests due to another player starting it at the same time and the scenario scene does not work.  I'm certain these will all be ironed out and not an issue at all at launch.

The Bastion zone is just so beautiful and has been so exciting to quest in, photo-bombing lady shoo please!

I finished Bastion last night and have now moved on to the zone Maldraxxus.  It's definitely the opposite of the lovely and charming Bastion zone.  The new zones feel very engaging as the player is featured in a lot of the cinematic scenes with the player also having to do some questing before they unlock the new covenant abilities.  One thing that has changed when reviewing the last couple of expansions is that the player can no longer choose which zone to level in first.  This also seems to apply to past expansion zones too.  It's strange to go from this freedom to being restricted and tunnelled in to a straight road, especially with the opposing faction levelling along side you.

I may explore and quest more in Maldraxxus tonight but I am also wanting to take advantage of super squirt day.  What is that you ask?  Squirt is a battle pet challenger that can appear in your garrison pet menagerie and if this challenger spawns on the pet battle weekly event, you can gain insane amounts of experience when levelling up other pets.  As of now I have levelled almost 150 pets up to maximum level, ensuring I have the ones I need to complete the Blackrock Depths and Celestial Tournament dungeons.
