Wednesday night apologies

 Good evening everyone!  I hope you've all had a fantastic day and your weekly reset in World of Warcraft has treated you well.  Apologies for the no post yesterday, it was my mums birthday so I spent most of the evening with her once she got home from work.  Yesterday was a bit of a double whammy with the birthday and receiving some not so great news in the mail so it was a bit of an emotional day.

I never really got much gaming time yesterday until very late in the evening.  I was not feeling the best so didn't have too much motivation to get in to anything that would use a lot of thought and being social so I spent some hours playing Cat Quest.  I managed to complete the base game and unlock the new play modes.  I will do a review on the base game as I did get a good amount of hours in the base game mode.

While there were not many screenshot moments due to almost the whole map looking the same, I did have fun playing the game.  It was a good time-sink while waiting for rare mobs to spawn in World of Warcraft.  The game is definitely not for everyone due to the simplistic gameplay and repetition of tasks.

Today I overslept so did not wake up until just after 2 p.m. (whoops!) so I have spent most of the afternoon catching up on my daily chores in World of Warcraft.  I have managed to complete a few new achievements since my last post.  I am still working on finishing achievements in Mechagon and finding the last book required for the achievement "Higher Learning" which is an achievement that was added in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion.

I will be playing more beta once the weekend hits so i'll be sure to take plenty of screenshots for you all while exploring Revendreth.  I have some friends that would like to try some dungeons together so i'll be sure to let you all know how that went with some screenshots.  I have been keeping my fingers crossed for a while now, hoping that a release date will be announced at Gamescom.  Blizzard will be making an appearance there when checking the Gamescom website for their event which starts on the 27th August.

I'll be starting a brand new game on Steam tonight called Parkasaurus.  It's a little park builder where dinosaurs are the main attraction so I am looking forward to jump right in and build.  I saw that it was on sale on Steam and after checking out a couple of videos I was sold.  The art style and gameplay make this look like a perfect game for me.  I'll let you all know more about this game over the next few days while I play.
