Back to the start of the week

Good evening everyone!  I hope you've all had a lovely weekend and your Monday is going great so far.  It's 19:14 here and quite miserable outside.  I went for a walk earlier and got soaked to the bone but I did feel good for going out and not as exhausted as I usually feel.  My fitness levels may be rising, who knows but it was a good feeling!

I had another quiet weekend playing games and taking it easy.  I played more of the Shadowlands Beta and managed to finish the Ardenweald zone and make a start in Revendreth.  I absolutely love the Ardenweald zone, it is just so beautiful to look and has some cute characters that you must help.  I was quite surprised to see a familiar face near the end of the zone which i'm sure will make some fans very happy.

Just taking in the views in Ardenweald, I love these new NPC models

Finally got to ride on one of the moths too, they are so adorable!

I am unsure what covenant i'll pick once I reach max level.  As a healer, The Night Fae appeared to be the suitable choice when looking at the talent trees featured in the soul bind system.  These may have changed since I last reviewed them so i'll definitely need to have a look.  Each of the abilities are interesting for sure, i'm sure so many of you will also have a hard time deciding like me!

Surrounded by so many of these awesome looking NPC's, i'd definitely play one if they became an allied race

While exploring, I came across a few lower levels while in Ardenweald and Revendreth so I think once you play through the zones once, you can choose where to level with your other characters as you have experienced the story as intended.  This is very welcome as I felt a little bit disappointing that you were unable to chose where to level like you could in the previous two expansions.

Entering Revendreth for the first time, now this zone is giving me major vampire castle vibes

I haven't done too many quests in Revendreth yet, started in there last-night and stopped playing once I unlocked the first covenant ability.  This zone makes me think of vampires and a spooky setting due to the environment and costumes the NPC's wear.  I am extremely excited to quest further in to this zone and tell you all more about it.  I have already encountered a few NPC's that will be bosses in the first raid zone.

Got to ride around in a carriage before we got rudely interrupted by a flying demon

Posing in town with my little alpaca

Retail World of Warcraft has been rather quiet over the weekend in terms of achievement hunting.  I managed to complete a few new ones and also levelled up an alliance character to 120.  My plan is to unlock the bumblebee mount and get the two pets that are only available by doing this.  I will take a deeper look in to what is only available for the alliance side that I can collect.

A few new achievements I managed to complete

Outside of gaming, I have slowly started to pick up my crafting materials and start a small project.  I still don't have my mojo back but after browsing pinterest and watching a lot of crafting videos on youtube, I sort of have the feeling of wanting to be creative again.  To get myself started, I have been following a video guide by my favourite craft company called Lawn Fawn.  They sell some adorable products that can be used to make a huge range of different cards and gift boxes.  I am slowly working on creating the following:

It's not too difficult to make but its enough for me to dip my toes in and try to find my love for crafting again.  I would love to share the various things I can make with you once I am in the right mindset and back in the mood to create.

I hope you are all having a lovely evening and i'll see you all tomorrow in my next blog post.  If you have any hobbies outside of playing games, please do share in the comments below.  I always love to hear what different things you all enjoy doing.
